Trout Festival in Buhl this weekend

The annual Trout Festival will be held in Buhl this weekend, Sept. 19. Businesses have their 6 ft painted fish displayed on the sidewalks. It’s fun to drive through town and see all the talent that has been put into these fish. Main St will be closed off Saturday morning, vendors will be set up and be selling a variety of items, kettle corn, elephant ears, barbecued ribs and chicken, beautiful plants, crafts, and gifts. Downtown merchants will have sidewalk sales with lots of specials. There will be grill demonstrations and Buhl Moose will be serving up brauts, selling raffle tickets and giving youngsters rides in their train. The youngsters can also have fun on the big bouncy kiddi toys, the climbing wall or getting acquainted with an alpaca. Rio Hondo, 220 N Broadway will have Buckarro Rodeo all day. The public library will be holding a book sale between 1 and 5 pm. At 11a.m. Sav-Mor parking lot will have the beer and wine garden. Lost of entertainment has been lined up for this event. Come and join us for a day of great fun and food.
